BECNT Radio Advertising & Membership Prize Draw

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to:

Australian residents aged 18 years or over

Business owners or authorised representatives of a business

Businesses operating in, or with a principal place of business in, the Northern Territory

Employees, contractors, board members of BECNT and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

4. Entry Period

The promotion opens on 15/12/2025 and closes at 11:59pm ACST on 31/12/2025.

5. How to Enter

To enter, eligible participants must:

Complete the online entry form available at becnt.com.au

Provide all required contact details as requested

Entry is free. No purchase is required.

Only one entry per business is permitted.

6. Prize

There will be one (1) winner, who will receive:

$1,800 worth of radio advertising airtime, and

One (1) BECNT Membership

The BECNT membership provides access to member benefits, discounts, programs, and opportunities.
Any references in promotional material to potential savings or value are indicative only and not a guaranteed monetary amount.

The prize is not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.

7. Radio Advertising Conditions

The radio advertising airtime is provided through ARN (or ARN-affiliated stations).

The advertising will be broadcast on ARN radio stations within the Northern Territory only.

If the winner chooses to have ARN produce the radio advertisement, a production fee of $150 + GST will apply and must be paid by the winner directly to ARN.

Alternatively, the winner may supply their own radio-ready advertisement, subject to ARN technical and content requirements.

Airtime must be used within the timeframe specified by ARN and is subject to availability.

BECNT is not responsible for scheduling, production timelines, content approval, or broadcasting decisions made by ARN.

8. Prize Draw & Winner Notification

This promotion is a game of chance.

All valid entries will be included in a random draw, and chance plays no part in determining the outcome.

The draw will take place on 05/01/2025 at BECNT offices, Darwin NT.

The winner will be notified by email and/or phone within two (2) business days of the draw.

The winner’s business name may be published on the BECNT website and social media channels unless the winner requests otherwise.

9. Privacy & Marketing Consent

By entering the promotion, participants:

Consent to BECNT collecting and using their personal information for the purposes of administering the promotion

Agree that BECNT may contact them in relation to the promotion

Participants may also receive communications from BECNT about programs, services, events, or opportunities.
Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting BECNT directly.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with BECNT’s Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

10. Permit

This promotion is conducted as a free trade promotion lottery. No Northern Territory permit is required.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

BECNT is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the promotion or use of the prize

BECNT makes no guarantee regarding the commercial outcomes of the radio advertising

BECNT is not responsible for the performance or services of third parties, including ARN

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. General

BECNT reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion if required due to circumstances beyond its control

Entries that are incomplete, misleading, or submitted fraudulently may be deemed invalid

The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory of Australia.

By entering the prize drw, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
