Free and Low-Cost Training for NT Businesses
The Flexible Skills and Training Response Program (FSRTP) is a Northern Territory Government initiative designed to help small-to-medium businesses build the skills they need to grow, adapt, and succeed.
Running from July 2025 to June 2026, the program funds practical, face-to-face workshops across the NT – from Darwin and Palmerston to rural and remote communities. Training is delivered by approved providers, each offering targeted sessions that address critical skill gaps in the NT business community.
Through the program, businesses can access free or subsidised training in areas such as:
Financial literacy – budgeting, cashflow, pricing, tax essentials, and more
ICT skills – Microsoft 365, CRM systems, automation tools
AI and automation
Tender writing and procurement
De-escalation and crime prevention
Industry-specific skills.
